In Luke 5:4-7, we read about an incredible fish-provision by Jesus. This provision required the help of others: “They signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink.” What if “their partners” hadn’t come and helped them? About half of the fish would’ve been lost.
While The Christian Experiment isn’t about a divine provision, it is about definite potential to provide Bibles to our persecuted brothers and sisters.
The main question: will you “come and help” distribute Bibles to our persecuted brothers and sisters? You can do so by way of creating awareness for a Bible fundraiser on your social media. That’s it!
As Christians, churches, ministries, Christian organizations, and Chrisian media outlets, we’re all partners when it comes to the distribution of God’s word, right? Whatever our differences may be, we’re all united when it comes to helping other Christians, right? Or, will your preferences, policies, and procedures prevent you from doing so?
Not so long ago, I reached out to a ministry who has an email list to over 600,000 pastors (as stated on their social media). This ministry wasn’t willing to help, because, as the lady said on the phone, we only share the writings of our founder.
Only God knows how many Bibles this retired pastor could distribute to his persecuted brothers and sisters through just one email, especially if he would encourage these 600,000 pastors to share this Bible fundraiser with their church. Isn’t that a shame?
In other words: if your preferences, policies, and procedures prevent you from helping to distribute God’s word to your persecuted brothers and sisters, you may have to revisit and revise them.
Whatever your thoughts about The Christian Experiment, the potential to easily and freely help other Christians is undeniably true. Whatever your preferences, policies, and procedures, will you help distribute God’s word to your persecuted brothers and sisters by way of creating awareness for this Bible fundraiser? It doesn’t cost you anything!
