Last time, I introduced The Christian Experiment, which is an experiment about the willingness or unwillingness of Christians to help distribute Bibles to their persecuted brothers and sisters through one social media share.
I mentioned that I wanted to test three hypotheses:
- All Christians are in favor of the distribution of God’s word
- All Christians are in favor of helping the persecuted church
- All Christians are in favor of books that will bless Christians
To me, these hypotheses are synonymous with my three assumptions. I assume that all three are absolutely true for all Christians. Now, I want to add two additional assumptions.
Before I list them, though, I want to stress the following: While The Christian Experiment is about one social media share on behalf of your persecuted brothers and sisters, your share is about creating awareness for a Bible fundraiser.
The goal of The Christian Experiment is to distribute 100,000 Bibles to our persecuted brothers and sisters. In order to do so, we need 300,000 Christians who are willing to purchase one of the $4.00 classic Christian book deals.
These classic Christian book deals consist of numerous books by a particular author or are about a specific subject. Since 50% of each purchase goes toward the distribution of God’s word, every three purchases will provide one Bible
In order to make it even more appealing, one can also buy all twenty book deals for only $6.00, which includes over 500 classic Christian books. Needless to say, these classic Christian books will be a tremendous blessing to any Christian.
Since 50% of each purchase goes toward the distribution of Bibles, we will need 200,000 Christians who are willing to buy all twenty book deals for only $6.00 (one Bible is $6.00).
As such, here are my two additional assumptions:
First of all, I’ve no doubt that there are at least 300,000 Christians who are more than willing to purchase one of the $4.00 book deals, or 200,000 Christians who are more than willing to purchase all twenty book deals for only $6.00, knowing that their purchase will provide 100,000 Bibles to the persecuted church. We just need to find them, which is where your help comes in.
Secondly, I’ve no doubt that every Christian, church, ministry, Chrisian organization, and Christian media outlet will be able to genuinely recommend at least one of the book deals to their audience.
If all five assumptions are true, we should be able to distribute 100,000 Bibles in a heartbeat, right?
The main question of The Christian Experiment is quite simple: are you willing or unwilling to create awareness for a Bible fundraiser for your persecuted brothers and sisters?
It doesn’t cost you anything!
