The following is in relation to The Christian Experiment. It’s about refusing to use one’s social media influence in order to help distribute Bibles to one’s persecuted brothers and sisters, which is without any cost or effort on one’s part.
Before I will list some of the reasons I’ve heard about not wanting to use one’s social media influence in order to help distribute God’s word to Jesus’ persecuted brothers and sisters, I want to address a few general objections.
I don’t want to share books that I cannot stand behind theologically
To me, that’s a legitimate objection. While these classic authors held to the essentials of the Christian faith, there are secondary issues that you may or may not agree with. This objection, though, can be easily answered and eliminated.
You can always become an affiliate, which is also a legitimate option for any nonprofit. In doing so, you can have your own “bookstore page,” listing the authors and books of your choice. That way, you can promote books that you can fully stand behind and help distribute Bibles to your persecuted brothers and sisters.
This is just a get-rich-quick scheme
First of all, the entire bookstore for only $4.00 is the best deal out there. You cannot find these 500+ classic Christian books (and more) for only $4.00. Without question, the spiritual value in these books far exceeds a $4.00 payment.
Secondly, 50% of each purchase goes to the distribution of Bibles to our persecuted brothers and sisters. These classic books are simply used as a fundraiser. Is it better to use or not use these books as a fundraiser for Bibles?
Thirdly, I don’t think that those who make this objection feel the same when they buy products at Amazon or Walmart.
Fourthly, part of the other 50% will also be used for the spread of God’s gospel and help those in need.
How can I be certain that 50% will go to the distribution of Bibles?
You can simply contact me and I will provide that proof each month. I’ll show you how many purchases have been made and, as a result, how many Bibles have been distributed.
