The “incredible potential” is about one simple question: if you could easily and freely use your God-given social media influence for the good of others, would you do so?
Undoubtedly, if a firefighter had an easy opportunity to rescue one extra child, he would be vilified if he neglected or even refused to do so, even though he had already rescued the other four children.
Most likely, he would be severely reprimanded, put on leave, or even fired.
It isn’t only about all the good we’ve done, it’s also about all the good we could’ve done but didn’t do.
In neglecting and refusing to rescue the fifth child, he denied his profession.
In light of the hypothetical firefighter, what about a free, simple, and easy opportunity to help distribute Bibles to your persecuted brothers and sisters?
This question is in relation to the following three free books and the social media influence of forty Christians.
While I don’t want to put anyone on the spot, I do want to highlight the incredible potential to easily and freely do more.
This opportunity is along the same lines as the former AmazonSmile.
The amounts are based on a one percent participation of their social media followers and one purchase of a $4.00 classic Christian book deal.
In order to make it more concrete, I’ve included the number of Bibles they’ll be able to distribute to the persecuted church ($6.00 for each Bible) or the number of children they’ll be able to sponsor for one year ($516 for each child).
Keep in mind, this without any cost or effort on their part, just using their God-given influence. They are listed in alphabetical order.

A No-Brainer
While these are hypothetical numbers, the incredible potential is clearly evident.
Even if only half of it would come about (a 0.5% participation of their social media followers), are 243,669 Bibles or 2,824 sponsored children not more than worth it?
On the other hand, what if two or three percent were to participate. That would double and even triple the numbers to 974,678 or 1,462,017 Bibles and 11,298 or 16,947 sponsored children.
Here’s the bottom line: if these classic Christians books will, indeed, encourage any Christian in his or her faith and walk with Jesus, and if they will, indeed, help distribute Bibles to our persecuted brothers and sisters, is there any reason why one wouldn’t want to participate in this Bible fundraiser?
We’re talking about the distribution of God’s word and helping Jesus’ brothers and sisters.
If either one of these forty Christians witnessed a devastating car crash and refused to call 911, the media (and their social media followers) would be all over them.
What about a free, simple, and easy opportunity to help their persecuted brothers and sisters, though?
Undoubtedly, they’ll be able to recommend at least one of the $4.00 book deals to their social media followers.
In the end, it’s rather simple: will you use your social media influence to help others when you have an opportunity to do so, especially since it’s without any cost or effort on your part?
